Additional Information

Registration Process + Payment

Art classes & workshops fill up quickly, so reserve your seat by paying in full. Only a full payment and registration will secure your seat in class. Online payments and registration forms are the fastest and most convenient way to quickly secure your seat. A link to the registration and payment is available on our Register for Classes tab.  Please complete registration + payment online.  If you are unable to pay online please contact us as soon as possible so your seat can be reserved.  Additionally, a permission form and photo release should be completed on our website. It is the sole responsibility of the parent and or guardian to keep these forms up-to-date.

Sold Out Classes

If you are interested in a class that is sold out, please add your name to our waiting list by emailing us at info@Makersartstudio.com. Be sure to include the name of the class you wish to attend and preferred method of contact and we will happily contact you should a space become available or let you know when we offer a similar class.

Missed Classes + Cancellations + Change of Plans

All classes are non-refundable. If you or your child misses a class or classes within a session, a make-up class may not be available, therefore we will catch your child up on what he/she missed upon his/her return. If you are unexpectedly going to miss two or more classes within a session, please let Makers Art Studio know as quickly as possible. We may be able to provide you with a studio credit to take another session. Please note, this is only available if we are made aware up to a week prior to your first session as your seat has already been secured. No studio credits will be issued within a week of the first class. The studio credit is valid for 6 months from the date issued. To be issued a STUDIO CREDIT, we must be provided with a written email requesting a STUDIO CREDIT for the specific session, class, or camp that you or your child is NOT able to attend.  Again, notice of this needs to be emailed no less than 1 week before the start date of the class or session.  Makers Art Studio does not issue refunds, only STUDIO CREDITS, so be sure to plan ahead.

Again, keep your preferred method of contact up-to-date so you can be aware of any Makers Art Studio cancellations due to unforeseen events. If for any reason Makers Art Studio must cancel a session, class, or camp, it will be rescheduled or refunded.

Contact Information

It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to make sure your contact information is current. Please be sure to notify us of any changes to your contact information which includes, but is not limited to phone number, email address and medical concerns.

Authorized individuals on the pick-up list must be updated, too. This is important as your child will not be released to any individual not listed on the permission slip and or registration form.

Art can be messy. We have smocks available to wear and some available to purchase. Please dress accordingly and don’t dress in anything you care about possibly getting messy.  We are not responsible for damaged or stained clothing.

If you think there’s a chance your child is not feeling their best, please opt to keep them home to keep everyone in the studio healthy!  If we observe a child to be not be feeling well, ill or a health risk we will contact parent/guardian to pick up to keep all the other children well + healthy.  Remember, we will work with your Maker to help him or her get caught up on anything missed.

Weather Days

We will follow the St. Lucie County School District hurricane day policy.  If the local school district is closed for a hurricane, we will schedule a make-up class(s).

Please note: Policies are subject to change without notice!

Please indicate on the Makers Photo Release form at least 2 business days prior to you or your child’s first class should you wish to decline your child’s photo release. There forms are available at the studio.
